Sydney: Welcome to 3-Minute Danish Season 1, Lesson 16 - Asking Directions. In this lesson, you’ll learn how to ask and understand basic directions in Danish.

Sydney: Here's the way to ask "Where is the station?" in Danish.
Asger: [Normal] Hvor er stationen?
Sydney: First is a word meaning "where"
Asger: [Normal] hvor [Slow] hvor
Sydney: Next is the word meaning "is"
Asger: [Normal] er [Slow] er
Sydney: Last is the phrase meaning "the station"
Asger: [Normal] stationen [Slow] stationen
Sydney: Note the rising intonation. Listen again to the question meaning "Where is the station?"

Sydney: Now, imagine you're giving indications. Here's the way to say, "Go straight."
